A Dignified Shopping Experience

Our mission is more than providing supplies— it is creating a safe and welcoming environment where women can rediscover their dignity, self-confidence, and self-worth. Our boutique of high-quality donated clothing, hand-sorted and displayed with care by volunteers, allows women to select items they can feel their best in. Each individual has her own story, goal, and needs; by inviting them to make personal choices of their own volition, we strive to help them rebuild their independence.

Bags-To-Go

There are times our clients cannot get to the store, or wait until the next store date. Bag to Go request forms are submitted by case managers or social workers who gather information on the women and children’s clothing and shoes sizes so that our volunteers can pack the bags with the appropriate woman and children’s needs.

The majority of WGB’s Bag to Go requests come from domestic violence shelters as they are fleeing their abusers with nothing but the clothes on their back. We also receive Bag to Go orders from Human Trafficking and Inmate Re-Entry programs; as well as Government Agencies including FBI Victim Services. The Bag to Go is picked up by the case manager, social worker or agent.
