Prom Boutiques Over the past month, WGB Programs and volunteers hosted seven Prom Boutiques, serving more than 190 high school students.
From dresses and suits to shoes, accessories, and makeup, these events helped remove the financial stress of prom - giving families the chance to simply enjoy this special milestone. This year, the introduction of Suit Day opened the experience to even more students, and the turnout made it clear just how needed it was. Our volunteers truly made the magic happen - helping shy teens come out of their shells, offering styling advice, pulling together complete looks, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. We’re so proud of everyone who helped bring these events to life, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year! |

Each year in April, Women Giving Back hosts a Shop with Honor: a military shopping day where active duty, veterans, and their families can come shop for free in our Boutique. It is a way of giving back to those who have done so much for our country.
This year, on April 17th, we were able to serve 88 families and help reduce the burden of reentering the community. Whether providing clothing to those back from overseas, replenishing a wardrobe of someone whose only wore fatigues for so long, or helping kids go to school feeling proud, we're honored to do this event each year.
A very special thank you our sponsor, TA Digital Group, and to Great American Restaurants for graciously catering this event, making sure these heroes left not just clothed, but fed. Our next WGB Military Shopping Day will be November 6th, 2026. |

On Tuesday, April 7th, local Credit Unions gathered for the 4th annual April Showers for Diapers Challenge! This isn’t just your average community event - it’s a high-stakes, high-energy, friendly competition to see who can pack the most diapers for local families in need.
Last year’s champions, Navy Federal Credit Union, set the bar high with their grip on the coveted Golden Baby Bottom Trophy. But this year, there’s a new winner in town! A huge congratulations to Apple Federal Credit Union for winning this year’s challenge!
The real winners, however, are the members of our community. Together, Apple FCU, Navy Federal, and Northwest Federal Credit Union collected and packed over 13,000 diapers to restock the WGB diaper pantry. Thank you to our incredible local Credit Unions for turning a little "April Shower" into a massive wave of support for local moms and babies!

On May 3rd, Women Giving Back is proud to be a beneficiary of Run the Greenway - and the big day is almost here! There’s still time to join our team, the Women Giving Back Wonder Women, and hit the course in support of WGB. Even if running isn’t your thing, we’d love to see you out there cheering on participants and soaking in the energy of race day. Be sure to stop by our table to say hello, enjoy some great food vendors, and stick around for the live band - it’s shaping up to be a fun, high-energy morning for a great cause. However you show up, your support helps us go the extra mile for women and children in our community! |

We’d like to give a special shoutout to Ruth Tilson, whose support has meant so much as we prepare for Cinco. A dedicated volunteer with over 230 hours, Ruth has also played a key role in gathering auction items - securing more than a dozen contributions and helping us build new connections with local businesses along the way.
We’re incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and laughter she brings to everything she does. Thank you, Ruth! |

Powering Our Mission with CFC |

We were incredibly grateful to welcome the team from Cooperative Finance Corporation, whose generosity made a meaningful impact across so many areas of our work. Their support included a $5,000 gift, a $5,000 diaper order, additional donations of diapers, socks, and underwear, and 300 snack packs for the families we serve.
Their contributions touched nearly every corner of our programs - from keeping our Diaper Bank stocked, to supporting our Snack Pack program, to providing essential clothing items for the Boutique. Their financial gift also helps us respond where the need is greatest. This kind of multi-faceted support strengthens our work across the board, and we’re truly thankful for their partnership. |
