This Women's History Month, we were thrilled to be surrounded by trailblazing women who inspire us to be our best selves! This month's 8th Annual Empowerment Luncheon presented by M&T Bank was a powerful celebration of strength, unity, and resilience.
This annual event is a beacon of hope, raising spirits and funds, and we were honored to share it with our community. With the help of our attendees and sponsors, the event raised an unprecedented $210,000 for our crisis support and economic development resources! Thank you to everyone who joined us on this unforgettable day, let's continue to uplift and empower each other! |

We had such a wonderful time on March 26th celebrating our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Loudoun Hunger Relief!
We were thrilled to officially open WGB’s newly expanded 26,000-square-foot facility - a meaningful milestone in our continued commitment to serving Northern Virginia’s most vulnerable neighbors.
It was especially exciting to celebrate alongside so many dedicated community leaders and partners. Their ongoing support, through collaboration, advocacy, and generosity, helps make our work possible and strengthens the safety net for families across our region. We’re incredibly proud of all that’s been accomplished over the past year and can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

We were so in awe of our first Prom Boutique of the season! Women Giving Back was completely transformed into a wonderland of dresses, shoes, accessories, and make-up to help everyone feel confident & radiant on their big night!
We believe that prom shopping should be a joyful experience for all, regardless of circumstances. That's why we're thrilled to offer FREE outfits to those who attend one of our four more Boutique days in April. This event is OPEN to all 11th and 12th grade students; you need only show a High School ID at the door to enter.
And, for the first time ever, we're introducing Suit Day on April 10th, where our racks will be filled with suits, ties, belts, and dress shoes. No dresses will be distributed on this day. Questions? Reach out to us at Erica@WomenGivingBack.org |

Thank you so much for participating in 2026's Give Choose!
On March 24th, the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties hosted 24hrs of giving to benefit local nonprofits serving those in our region. Thanks to your generosity, Women Giving Back was able to raise $4,550 of our $5,000 goal! If you missed the event, don't worry! There's still time to donate, but hurry - the site closes on April 10th!

Our annual Cinco de Mayo: Fiesta for a Cause is BACK and tickets are on-sale now! This is a fun celebration to thank all of our annual sponsors, volunteers, and contributors while raising funds to support our mission. There’s no better way to celebrate than being outdoors under our Fiesta tent enjoying tasty Latin-inspired food, drinks, and music!
Please consider being a 2026 Cinco Sponsor or Auction Item Donor! Last year’s Fiesta was a huge success due in large part to our annual sponsors, event underwriters, and in-kind donors - this event would not be possible without you. We are so grateful for the continued engagement of our repeat supporters, and we hope newcomers will consider joining our growing list of contributors this year!

On May 24th, Women Giving Back will be a proud beneficiary of Run the Greenway, the unique race down the Dulles Greenway that supports some of Loudoun County’s incredible nonprofits.
There are many ways to help make an impact! For every 10 runners who sign up to support Women Giving Back, we receive $100, and our team - Women Giving Back Wonder Women - is already beginning to form. You can also support the race by sharing the event with friends or by making a direct donation through the race website.
Whether you run, donate, or spread the word, you’ll be helping Women Giving Back go the extra mile for women and children in our community! |

If you’re planning a spring dinner or gathering, you might consider choosing a bottle that also gives back.
Vienna Vintner is generously donating a portion of proceeds from their 2023 Paso Robles Pinot Noir to support Women Giving Back. We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with a local business in a way that directly benefits the families we serve. If you’re interested, bottles are available at the shop in Vienna and you can even meet the winemaker at our upcoming Cinco de Mayo celebration! |

We Can Bank on Capital One! |
|
|
| We’ve got to give credit where credit is due - our March volunteers from Capital One made a major deposit of time, energy, and heart!
This crew arrived ready to show their skills, jumping into action by installing lockers, clearing out donation bins, and helping our space reach full value. Upstairs, their to-the-cent precision kept shelving organized, while downstairs they sorted and hung clothing for the Boutique with interest and care.
No task was too big or small, helping us prepare for the big Ribbon Cutting without missing a beat. Their commitment truly paid dividends, and we’re so grateful for a group we can always depend on! |
