We had so much fun teeing off with our supporters at TopGolf! The weather was perfect for an evening of raising funds and awareness for our mission, and the event overall was a hole-in-one. With the help of our sponsors, attendees, auction donors and bidders, we raised nearly $50,000 for our programs supporting women and children in crisis! |

Thank you again to our presenting sponsor Ms. Fixit for helping to make this even possible! |

In case you missed it, we debuted a special holiday raffle item at TopGolf— this one-of-a-kind custom art piece comprised of donated jewelry pins was created by a WGB supporter, and could be yours if you are the lucky raffle winner! Tickets are on sale now through November 30th; all proceeds will support WGB's programs. After the winner drawing and announcement on December 1st, the prize will be available for pickup at Women Giving Back's office just in time for the holidays! The jewelry tree will be on display at various WGB partner locations. Keep an eye on our social media to see where it pops up next! |

Referral Partner Open House |
|
|
|
Earlier this month, we hosted our annual Referral Partner Open House & Community Resource Fair! It was a fun way to connect our partners with each other, share resources, and show our appreciation for these hard-working advocates ensuring those in need are cared for. Guests were able to visit exhibitor tables, have professional headshots taken, enjoy a complimentary lunch, win raffle prizes, and attend a training on compassion fatigue.

We are honored and excited to announce that we have been chosen to participate in a special charitable giving campaign sponsored and funded by Target, and you have the chance to help direct a portion of Target’s donation to us!
Now through December 31st, vote for WGB through the Target Circle program to help direct Target’s giving to our nonprofit.
Sign up for Target Circle (free loyalty program) to start earning votes! Each eligible purchase at a Target store, on target.com, or through the Target mobile app earns shoppers one vote. As you keep shopping, you can keep voting throughout the campaign!
We’re asking our supporters to help us make the most of this incredible opportunity. Every vote counts to help us receive a portion of the available Target funds as we continue advancing our mission.

We are ramping up our Winter Coat Drive! Our first taste of chilly weather has reminded us the importance of providing each woman and child in need with a good quality heavy coat. Other winter items like gloves/mittens, scarves, hats, snow pants, boots, and new socks are welcome too!
Help give the gift of warmth by donating items during our scheduled donation times, or host a drive with your neighbors, friends, and coworkers!

With the help of many generous donors and Santa's Workshop volunteer elves, we are able to distribute over 6,000 holiday gifts to hundreds of children every year, bringing the magic of the holidays to local families in need.
Help brighten up a child's holiday season! We are collecting new unwrapped gifts through December 12th.
We love to offer a wide array of gifts to suit different kids' interests, but please no toy guns / weapons or stocking stuffers. We can always use more gifts for teens— here are some ideas! See when to drop off donations here. |

"We can’t always come in to help but love being able to help from home." |

Volunteers will notice that we don't sort the jewelry donations that arrive at WGB. That is due to the fact that we have two wonderful ladies who take home all the jewelry each month and return it to WGB all ready to go! Tara Craven and Connie Bucko have sorted our donated jewelry for the last 6 years. They ensure necklaces are untangled, earrings have backs and are placed on cards, and watches are working. Then they return the items, place them into categories in our closet, and stock the boutique's jewelry department. Tara began volunteering with us in 2009 and brought on her sister-in-law Connie in 2012. We are immensely thankful for their longstanding efforts!
