When women support each other, incredible things happen!

Our 4th Annual Women's Empowerment Luncheon presented by M&T Bank was a huge success. Thank you to our Keynote Speaker, Linda Rabbitt from rand* construction who inspired everyone with her story. The room was filled with over 300 Female CEO's, Business Leaders, Executives, and Inspiring Women. Together, with generosity and support, the Empowerment Luncheon generated $140,000, all of which benefitted Women Giving Back directly.

We had a lot going on in April! We were able to serve over 700 women and children with clothing this month!

George Mason University's special and fun "Be the Change" group recently did a clothing drive for WGB and then came out to sort and organize in the Prom Boutique! We were so happy to have you!

Thank you to the great team from Rosendin Electric for helping us sort and stock summer kid's clothing! Your support is so very much appreciated!

Thank you to Jeanette Moore, a hairstylist at Salon Lofts Cascades for reaching out to host a clothing drive at the salon with her fellow stylists. Since starting, we have picked up 4 boxes! Your partnership and support are very much appreciated. Thank you, LOTS!

Volunteer Appreciation Week!

Volunteer Appreciation Week is our favorite time of the year! Our volunteers are truly the backbone of everything we do at WGB, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you!

This year, we celebrated with a ton of festivities (and sweets) throughout the week and ended with our Volunteer Celebration where we had an ice cream social, a henna artist, and calligrapher!

April Military Appreciation Day!

In honor of Month of Military Child, WGB hosted our first Military Appreciation Day of the year, and it was a great success. We assisted over 15 military families with free clothing. We also had an incredible photographer, Alexis Doty from F/22 Video Solutions, take beautiful family portraits. Additionally, Virginia Department of Veteran Services was there to provide information and resources available to veteran families.

We are so happy and honored that we could serve YOU!

Our next Military Appreciation Day will be on November 12th from 10am-12pm!

Celebrating Women's History Month!

Thanks to our amazing partners at M&T Bank and NBC Washington, WGB was featured in their celebration of Women's History Month! WOW! Check out the commercial here!

Prom Boutique!

Our 2022 Prom Boutique was a great success. We served OVER 210 high school students with prom dresses this year! WOW!

Our Prom Boutique days bustled with students coming in and out of the boutique, trying on their favorite outfit, and walked away with a gorgeous dress to wear to prom!
