DARO Partners with Women Giving Back to Help to Empower Women in the Community

Residents Across 12 Properties Contribute to Successful Clothing Drive to Help Disenfranchised Women Achieve Greater Independence

In partnership with Women Giving Back (“WGB”), DARO hosted an extremely successful clothing drive for women in crisis over the past several weeks. Residents of DARO generously contributed more than 7 SUV-loads of clothing to WGB and the community they serve.

Top 8 Allergen-Free Snack Packs

Adrian and Caitlin Vives Dropped off 129 top 8 allergen-free snack packs! After telling them that we’d go through this entire bin by Saturday afternoon they were in shock and decided they’d make snack-packing a regular thing to give back to kids in need. Thank you Adrian and Caitlin!

Dressing Room Makeover

This dressing room makeover recently brought tears to a client of ours because of how normalizing it felt to have a beautiful dressing room as if she were in a high-end boutique.

Thank you NCL Class of 2020! This dressing room will definitely make for a positive shopping experience for the families shopping with us.

Miki’s Home Dedication

In May we witnessed our WGB Ambassador, Miki receive the keys to her new home.

This is Loudoun Habitat for Humanity’s 50th home dedication.

BB&T Donates & Volunteers in June

BB&T in Chantilly was alotted $3,621.82 to spend on warehouse/store items for us and came in for an entire day to volunteer. They bought and helped assemble snack packs, built metal shelves, organized our biggest storage room, bought two new refrigerators, and built a desk for us! We are extremely thankful for this partnership.
