Bombas!

Do you know about Bombas? Well if you don't, here's the 411. Launched in 2013, the founders learned that “socks are the #1 most requested item in homeless shelters;” they decided to change that. And THAT they did! We submitted our need and we now have the following en route: extra small (Toddler/Youth 1.5-8.5), small (Youth 9-4, Women 4-7.5), medium (Women 7-11.5 & Men 6-9), Large (Women 12+, Men 9.5-13) and Extra Large (Men 13+)

We are beyond grateful, smiling and believe in the Bombas vision, mission and goals.

7x24 and WGB – Backpack and School Supplies Event

The 7x24 Exchange, DC Chapter, partnered with WGB and held a backpack and school supply party in July. The 7x24 organization and members purchased backpacks and school supplies for elementary and middle/high school students.

Along with the necessary supplies, an inspirational note was hand written and placed in over 60 backpacks for each child that will receive through this program. This jump started the backpack/school supplies donation drive for WGB who’s mission is to support women and children in crises, and build their confidence and self-esteem.

Last year WGB provided 460 children from low‐income families (most in shelters) with back to school supplies.
