We had the opportunity to welcome shoppers from Friends of Guest House and appreciate the thanks. We enjoyed the time spent with each and every one of you.

“The women enjoyed the experience so much and loved all the support and attention they received from the volunteers there.”

Let’s help Miki!

We are trying to build a volunteer crew to help our friend Miki and her toddler twin boys. She has overcome many hardships, but is now on the track to home ownership through Habitat for Humanity. She was among 30 families who applied during open enrollment in December and she was one of six families chosen.

As part of the program, Miki must volunteer a total of 80 hours at ReStore in Leesburg and complete 100 hours of construction/rehab work. Sweat equity. Miki is certainly capable of reaching goals - she has proven that over and over - but this is a lofty goal for a single mom who works full-time. Here’s the good news. Friends/family can volunteer their time to help her fulfill those hours.

Interested in volunteering at ReStore? Just complete a 1-hour training session then pick your slot (weekdays or Saturdays!). Join us! https://www.loudounhabitat.org/volunteer

Miki is a WGB Ambassador, speaking for WGB at events such as Cinco; and has done multiple donation drives for us in the past year.
